Practice Areas

Walter is a corporate and commercial solicitor. The common buzzwords for what he does include mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, contracts and transitions, but in the simplest terms he helps businesspeople with their legal needs (solicitor side) in relation to all aspects of their business activities.  He also helps his clients with all of their estate planning needs.

Personal

Walter’s life experiences are varied. In his early 20’s Walter was a high school math/science/P.E. teacher and then a real estate agent.  He has completed degrees in science, education, business administration and law (called to the bar in 1984), all of which have helped him practice corporate commercial and estate planning law for over 30 years.

Walter’s interests are also varied, including the study of world religions and cosmology, and hiking in places as diverse as the Hesquiat Peninsula, Nootka Island, Grand Canyon, Hadrian’s Wall, Cinque Terre and the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain.  Walter is the current president of the Educated Wrestler Society.  He is a painter, sculptor and gardener, …. but mostly a lawyer.
