DaimlerChrysler to Pay $90 Million

The issue is the repairs of the cars’ emission controls. the case was settled and DaimlerChrysler Corp. has agreed to spend $90 million to repair defective emission-control systems on nearly 1.5 million Jeep and Dodge vehicles. The years from 1996 through 2001 are covered by this settlement.

As a part of the agreement, DaimlerChrysler will notify approx. 700,000 owners of the Jeep’s, Dodge Ram’s and Dodge Dakota’s.

Advice: always check you are up to date with your product … otherwise the settlemt mey be heavy!
