http://news.lp.findlaw.com/ap/o/51/11-23-2005/af69000a65f49838.html informed about the computer employment company Computech Corp. has agreed to pay $2.65 million to settle federal accusations that it violated immigration laws by underpaying foreign computer experts, the U.S. Department of Labor said.
This should serve as a wake-up call to all domestic but also the foreign companies who employ nonimmigrant H-1B workers, but fail to pay them the minimum required wage rates in the areas where they were employed.
The wage determination is serious. Yes, the US governmentcann tell you how muchto pay your staff,… atleast if they are foreigners!
